Is hypnosis right for me?
Hypnosis is a natural state of mind that people experience daily, and is nothing like the spell-bound experiences perpetuated by the media. One example is a hypnotic driving trance. Have you ever been behind the wheel and arrived at your destination only to become aware that you have no recollection of the journey? The experience of getting into the car and driving a familiar route is so relaxing that our subconscious takes over and does the work for us. We are in “the zone” wherein we accomplish familiar, everyday activities without thinking.
Hypnotic therapy is this mechanism, simply applied to challenges we face in our lives. We work together to uncover limiting subconscious patterns of thinking — and then change, those patterns by stimulating and affecting the subconscious mind — therefor unlocking your ability to function differently. Some say it feels like becoming “un-stuck.”
FAQ
What does a session look like?
Hypnotic coaching sessions run from 1 to 2 hours. We will discuss your goals and anything new in your life, and I will use a variety of hypnotic coaching techniques to help you take advantage of unconscious learning and move towards achieving those goals.
How long will it take us to meet my goals?
It depends on the goal and on the person. I can guarantee that I will create a safe, non-judgemental space for you to explore what is going on. I can guarantee that I will lead you through experiences that help recondition automatic responses and habitual patterns that no longer serve you. I also can guarantee that I will teach you skills of change that will help you move forwards and grow on your own.
How do I know if it will work?
I guarantee that my clients will feel differently about the situation and themselves after each session because that is what happens naturally as we get clear about what we want and step away from habitual patterns and ways of seeing things.
What if I’ve never been hypnotized?
You have nothing to worry about! I am an expert at guiding participants through their first hypnotic experiences. I have a variety of protocols available to me, ranging from conversational guidance (conversational hypnosis) to meridian tapping, NLP and formal trance.
Is there any science to support this type of therapy?

what sorts of issues do you work with?
